The short version
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to this site or to anyone else. There is no account, no login and no email capture. The only data collection comes from standard server logs and, if advertising is enabled, from the ad network described below.
What is collected automatically
Like nearly every website, the server records standard request information when a page is loaded: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, the page requested, and the date and time. This is used to measure traffic volume and diagnose faults. It is not combined with any other information to identify an individual reader.
Calculator inputs
All calculations are performed locally in JavaScript inside your browser. No input value is transmitted, stored, logged or retained. Closing the page discards everything you entered.
Cookies
This site does not set its own tracking cookies. If advertising is displayed, the advertising provider may set cookies or use similar technologies, as described in the next section.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies does not affect any calculator on this site.
Third-party advertising
This site may display advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google. Those vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You may also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
Third-party vendors and ad networks operate under their own privacy policies. This site does not control the data those vendors collect.
Consent
Where required by law — including for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — a consent notice is presented before advertising cookies are set, in line with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework. You may change or withdraw consent at any time through that notice or through your browser settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data held about you, and to object to processing. Because this site does not maintain user accounts and does not store calculator inputs, in most cases there is no personal record to retrieve. Requests can be sent to hello@numfoundry.com.
Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws may request disclosure of categories of personal information collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. This site does not sell personal information.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Data retention and security
Server logs are retained for a limited period for operational purposes and then discarded. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but the practical risk here is low because no personal data is stored.
External links
Pages may link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Changes
If this policy changes materially — for example, if a new advertising or analytics provider is added — the update date at the top of the page will change accordingly.
