If you are reporting a wrong number
Please include:
- The page name — for example, "Tax Equivalent Yield Calculator"
- The exact inputs you used
- The result the page gave you
- The result you expected, and the source or formula behind it
With those four things, an error can usually be confirmed and fixed within a couple of days. Without them, it takes a round of email to even locate the problem.
If you are suggesting a tool
Welcome, with one condition: describe the problem, not the interface. "I need to size a RAID array for a specific IOPS target" is useful. "You should add a dark mode" is not, because it does not tell me whether the tool deserves to exist.
Response times
Arithmetic and formula corrections: usually within 48 hours. Everything else: within a week, sometimes longer. If you do not hear back, resend — email gets missed.
